My family had a nursery in Guam in the early ’70s and we were always looking for empty cans or containers for flower pots. I had permission to go to the NAS dump to look for discarded tins when I came across hundreds of these type containers. The end caps seen here with the jar cap style grooves were perfect for our needs and were free. After painting them (green) and drilling holes in the bottom, our competition had no idea what our source was. It was a life saver for us.
